NW Indiana | You make it sound like farming didn't exist before crop insurance. The 80's had was about over leverage on land, not actually growing a crop. Actually seed, chemistry and all other inputs would be cheaper with the greater risk. Crop insurance has bloated the cost of everything in ag because there is little risk of losing it. Again programs like this from the government create unknown problems that only become known when its too late. | |
