Wouldn’t that be great if we could go back to the 50-60-early 70s style farming. And having a baby only cost $100, no cell phone bills, no direct tv, three channels on the tv, no internet, No cab tractors, party phone lines and most didnt worry about health ins premiums. Grain prices fluctuated maybe 10 cents/ bu/ yr. Get up every morning and go milk 20 cows. Farming has changed along with our outside cost. These same things will continue to change in the future and new and innovative ideas will need to be considered. The safety net is here for the wild swings in the market and the weather and as long as there’s a demand for the product that is offered it’s here to stay or change with the times.
