The first picker I ever ran was a mounted New Idea on a Farmall 460d with a sheller unit to do hmc. I remember dad looked like he had blackface on when he got off it. Suspect he was happy to let me run it.
It was miserable in warm weather. We got a pull type around 1970 and it was a big improvement.
I guess I am old!
