Don’t want sympathy. Just find it interesting we argue all summer about yield and weather,. The truth is more damage has been done to national yield today and the two days previous than the worst dry month during the summer for a good share of the producers on here. You can use air reels and try to rewet them but you will never get back the yield you had on Thursday.
So many guys will argue anything!
Yes, yield is lost when crop moisture does what it has done the last few days!
If you don’t know it, ignorance is bliss I guess.
As far as USDA goes, you couldn’t find a single employee that could understand it, much less think there would need to be any adjustment for it.
