Subject: RE: JD S770 sieve frame lightly rubbing by rear swing arm

Royal City, WA
We just had the chaffer and sieve out for inspection last winter. We replaced the pitman arms 2 years ago and didn't have this issue last year. I'm just seeing this issue after we put the sieve and chaffer back in after inspections to run. I rolled the shoe over a few time pulling on the chopper belts and then stopped the swingarms at mid stroke and then torqued the bolts to spec. According to the way I'm seeing wear it seems that the shoe is a little out of square. Possible didn't have it quite in the middle of the stroke or did not tighten it in the right sequence. I am just going to keep and eye on it and will investigate once we pull everything apart. Thanks
