SW Illinois | cant see any damage on the housing. The final drive was replaced, and started blowing the o-rings out after a week. The independent mechanic shop that replaced the final drive looked at it once and just replaced the o-ring. They do a lot of work with the coal mines so they are plenty experienced.
We started to just carry extra o-rings in the cab. replace it once every couple weeks when we track a bunch was annoying, but not the end of the world. Finally got it into the shop with time to take a good look at it but running out of ideas now.
looks like the valve body that would need replaced is $5,300 from the dealer..... hopefully can find something cheaper after market. | |
