South cental Ohio | Guess I'm old too. I remember we had our cousin come over with his 2ME picker and open up our fields so we could pick with our New Idea pull type. Both pickers shelled way more corn than is acceptable by todays standards LOL. A pull type was way better to operate than a mounted. My dad had one of the first JD 40 combines in the area and I would ride on that thing all day, every day and not think anything about it....no cab ,open station of course LOL. | |
