Tread carefully. Can you afford to pay $12,000 an acre for the woods? Basically, half the farm. Putting cattle out there isn't a bad idea but it won't be free. You will need some fence. Is it close to what you already farm?
Don't create a nightmare for yourself. You are still way young be patient and keep looking. Starting off right will make your life go a whole lot better.
