South Eastern ,ILL | We used the Kinze pink wheat plates. You need the 2-1 reduction sprockets on. I think we were on 25 & 19 . In 15” rows you want 1.35 million seeds / acre. We had 15” wheat a few years ago with good success doing it again
this year,as a matter we’re already done with wheat.
What we liked was planting double crop beans at an angle in the 15” wheat
rows was a big advantage, not so much straw and the wheat yielded within
2-3 bu. of broadcast wheat with less seed expense.
Easy to combine also . | |
