I will agree that I would never terminate a lease, or do any important legal business for that matter, by text but I disagree that a text is delivering written notice. I would say at best it is a gray area.
How is what is wrote in a text less valid that something that is wrote and delivered via email or snail mail? I do not text, but majority of my business transactions is done Via email. Have learned it is best to have things in writing over the years vs conducting business on the phone, when the other party forgets what they agreed to |
