| Agree 100%…. But crop insurance as a whole has made your last sentence true…… Just look back at all the posts made the last couple months about skipping fungicide apps or herb apps as all it would do is “save insurance money”…… Crop insurance needs to be privatized if it sticks around…….. so the folks that use it year in year out pay for it instead of passing the costs onto their neighbors. I realize some areas may find it too expensive to take a chance on planting a crop in the short term but everything will adjust and in time be economical again. | |
