| You’ve identified an issue that many have with EV’s in our current and foreseeable future. Whether the trend of charging the proposed fleet of North American EV’s is to charge a few at a time on fast chargers or en mass at home slowly the same amount of energy will be required. This issue likely ranks right up there with their current range as a factor that has people very concerned about them being pushed on us. Pushing them is a bit like advocating to have future gasoline shortages. The current EV enthusiasts might end up lamenting convincing others to give up their ICE powered vehicles if the generation and distribution of constant reliable energy supply doesn’t precede EV adoption.
FWIW I appreciate hearing about your EV experiences and I don’t have anything against EV’s where they fit. And they do fit in really well in a lot of instances. I do think we should head in that direction slow enough to let the technology and the support system it requires to mature though.
