3 options on getting rid of feral rye

1 alternative crop that allows either roundup application during heading stage of rye (round up ready canola)

2 axiom trait wheat spray with $22+-/ ac chemical fall (pre freeze) and spring again ( requires 20 GPA)

3 doublestop 2 gene wheat spray with very expensive chemical

Axiom. - spring application ( per label) 85% kill ( we saw 95% last 2 drought years). If you can do fall application 98% kill

Aggressor herbicide works great on Rye. There are also some very nice CoAxium varieties out there that yield very well.

Beyond is a waste of money on rye. You will not even get suppression of rye with it. Beyond does work well on joint grass, which is the biggest weakness of Aggresor herbicide. If you are looking for a high yielding wheat variety, Doublestop is not the direction to go. Very limited top end yield.
