I don't think the fuel+time pencils very well to turn it into dust vs a course grind that breaks 95% of the kernels. In addition to that there is more wind loss when processing as well as handling.
I'll let you do the math but I would start with what you think is the additional gain to go that fine? The difference should be in the single digits. The actual grind time is going to be close to cut in half as well as the fuel usage. In this particular instance you should add a new piece of equipment to pay off with the increase in gain. Makes it really hard to pencil. |
