Been year since I've been around one, how close are the dimensions at the pivots to newer quick tach. Don't have any idea if one for a later model would possibly swap on the machine or not, but probably worth checking. Looks like the pivot pins might be the same size, also can't find a 1975 L225, guessing you mean L775 or similar?
