Electrical engineering is harder than it looks, and that's why EE's get paid so much.

Making electric vehicles is relatively easy. Implementing a charging network and the power sources to feed them is the big issue, and the car manufactures don't want to handle that issue. That's "not their problem."

The trouble is, a combination of environmental and NIMBY agendas are combining to gut the power grid's reliability and capacity.
