Had sort of the same issue tonight. Found that a pressure around 1300-1350 with fore/aft tilted so that cutterbar is forward worked the best. Got the trash off the back of the skid plates a little bit that way and was able to run a lighter pressure but still cut close to the ground. Just watch for rocks
