Subject: RE: Honeybee Draper

We ran a new 45' unit last year in soy beans. It was ok at first but then someone from the dealership came out and help us set it up properly and then it was great. Dug in a lot less than our macdon head we had before. We were in some pretty wet conditions last fall and when it did dig in, never had to clean mud from under the draper belts like we'd often had to do with the macdon. The knives were driven by a belt and sometimes in the evening when the dew started to come on the beans got tougher, the belt would slip me I'd have to tighten it to keep going. Used it this summer in wheat and had no issues with it.
