| If the rotor loss was less before and now greater with helicals, that doesn't surprise me at all !! USE NO CAGE FINGERS OR CAGE COVERS !! I have no idea what concave you have in this machine. If it was the original style, I'd automatically torch out every other wire in the back THREE rows for more separation and LESS plugging. Use two reverse bars on the left side minimum (maybe four) and another one or two on the right side if needed. These hyper-guys don't believe in them either, but look what you've got....rotor loss. The hoop bar on the discharge end is a must and helps for sure. I EXPECT my corn rotor losses to always be less than 1 BPH and get half that most of the time. Got questions? call me. 319-360-4788.
