Wisconsin | If it was 6011 I'd do it. I don't use much 6013, so I'd only do it if the cheapness of the rod and the quality expectations of the project are low enough to change the rod type. I do have a can of unknown rods for those projects. The air and moisture exposure won't hurt 6013, even if they're a little rusty, as long as they're dry when you use them, like sat in the sun dry, not baked at 300 or anything. | |
