6013 is a look pretty/starter welding rod imo. Nothing wrong with it but I like 6010/6011 pass first then cover with 7018 if needed. A rod oven would bring those 6013s back to life if you’re questioning them.
6013 and 7018 are probably both about the same as penetration goes. 6010/11 will put those to shame as far as penetration.
Old 6013 rods?
