Your indignation and feeling taken for granted is very understandable and I would feel the exact same way.
Perhaps some day you and the Super can have a calm nice chat about the efforts you have made to help out the school and the dimes it does cost you out of your pocket.
I wonder what the insurance issue is to you if there ever is some sort of incident on those 5 acres?
As a non farmer he likely has no clue.
That doesn’t excuse him; he over reached and was condescending, or some such big word, to a person that is going above and beyond.
