 Southeast Colorado | Where there's a will, there's a way. I used to run an older Miller Nitro. I used it a couple of times to haul tires out to a pivot. It was still a lot of work when I got there. I've got one of those tracked carts now............and it seems to be a better fit. Some of the bigger guys have those machines that will go over the corn and lift the tower/etc. But they are $30k rigs............and I'd only need one a handful of times a year. And then the battery would be dead...........or whatever. I reckon we all pick our battles. I just know that when I'm out there changing a tire or gearbox in the mud on a hot day in 10' tall corn..............I'm thinking that this is pretty stupid........and a tough way to make a living! Hasn't stopped me yet though. | |
