| Or if they're like here somebody pulls out in front of someone & gets killed then they want to spend millions redoing the intersection. Especially if it's a teenager that gets killed when it was just a matter of someone disobeying a traffic sign. Currently the state is redoing one intersection & has plans to redo another in a 15 mile stretch with what is referred to as " Michigan U-turns". Basically if your in the southbound lane of a 4 lane hwy, to go east on the intersecting hwy you'll have to go south of where you want to turn east, make a u-turn, come back Noth & then turn right onto the hwy you want to go east on. Going north it's just the opposite to go west you go north past the hwy, make a u-turn to come back south then turn right to go west.,In a semi it takes virtually both lanes of the north bound & south bound lanes & a shoulder to make the u- turn. Hard telling how many wrecks that's going to cause just because someone on the 2 lane hwy & pulled out if front of someone on the 4 lane. didn't stop . | |
