So there is no need for more parking other than this one school or other community events? I find that hard to believe.
Around here, almost all cross country meets are held at golf courses. Once and a while there is one at a park if they find one big enough. So this is probably the biggest crowd the club ever sees be a long shot. Most meets involve 10 to 15 schools, sometimes more along with all the parents that travel to watch. There can be a few hundred cars to park plus all the buses. But I would think 5 acres and a little organization would be enough, for the meets around here anyway. |
