Central MN | Glad he called. Perhaps you could invite him to the field in the spring when your planting and have him ride along so you can explain what it takes to offer the parking area. They guy is maybe not well versed in production ag. We were just talking about this the other day as there’s a high school kid that helps some and he struggles sometimes with operating machinery even when doing tasks that we could do without thinking but we’ve been doing it our whole lives while the kids been doing it a few months.
Another thing that might work is putting the 5 acres in hay. If you don’t have livestock perhaps you could rent it to someone who does and just make sure they take a cutting right before the event. | |
