Central Iowa
As always all the details matter but are not always necessary for every post. It is a large field by my standards at over 100 acres with just the 5 acres planted to earlier varieties. I'm not trying to complain and I explained to the super that this is what I could get done at this time. No yelling no aggression just a civil conversation among people needing things done.
The beans just get run into a bin without air so I like to stay 13 or under to harvest for safe storage.
UPDATE this super did actually call me this morning after the event to tell me how thankful he was and that the parking actually worked out great they fit probably 400 cars in my field and another 90 across the road in 1 grass lot so they had the room they required. Told him I was very appreciative of the phone call and was happy I could help them with this event. I bet the school board members that I talked with had a chat with him.
I only posted here to get others reactions and opinions and I got exactly what I was looking for. Some well-thought-out discussions both for and against all actions taken. Its kinda like one of those am I the a-hole threads :)
