| What I would suggest for future incidents is to email the board members, one email with all the board members and maybe the AD cc'd to it. Doing it via email documents exactly what you said and with all of them getting the same email there is no he said/she said down the road.
Our district is looking for a new superintendent, the last one pretty much got ran out of town at the end of the last school year. Part of the problem was she was working really hard to keep the school board from finding out about problems and she had the president of the board in her back problems. Teachers were pulling their hair out trying to get problems dealt with and it wasn't until things started to implode that the school board found out and could start addressing things. I guess my point is you might think it was an over reaction to talk to school board members but it might also be an important piece of the puzzle they need to know about to do their job. | |
