| If you talked to the school board members like you explained here, certainly nothing out of line, and was good to bring it to their attention. Like someone else said communication is key, and a quick call to whoever is in charge in their end a day or 2 before your harvest to mark the area and make sure it is enough could have saved the situation from happening.
Like someone else also mentioned, a rough itemized cost breakdown for the school board on your ‘hassle’ to accommodate the event might be good even though you have no intention of needing payment.
I commend you for working with the community and school, something that many don’t have the time for anymore in todays world. | |
