I often get requests for a little more from community organizations based on my family's prior generosity and my own. It is a challenge to communicate the limitations of generosity to those who are on the receiving end. If they are persistent, then I will ask them for a like donation to organizations other than their own that I support. Thankfully, more often they are appreciative and understand limits. |
