My Rubicon has been ducked a few times, it's just a friendly gesture of someone saying "Hey, I like your Jeep!". I don't see any harm. Maybe you have to be a Jeep person to understand.
They can be habit-forming... this TJ just followed me home a couple of weeks ago :-).
