So if I am understanding correctly, if producers paid full premium large established operations would have an unfair advantage over young guys because they would be able to forgo crop insurance while the young guy had to take it? I'd have to think about that one awhile as at first pass its not convincing me. I insure many other things without subsidies because I dont want to risk loss.
