| Good. It lets people take outsized risks on marginal ground that should have more drought tolerant crops put on it or be grazed. Letting large farms squeeze out smaller ones at a faster rate then would happen naturally.
I don't blame people for taking crop insurance its part of the game and we don't make the rules. The cognitive dissidence is outstanding though. Some many farmers against welfare and subsidies in all forms but then those same people start yelling as soon as ethanol mandates or crop insurance are threatened with being cut.
