No one is this stupid. It's actually why you elect a whole bunch of people, to greatly reduce the possibility of stupid outcomes.
Yet the bigger government is, the stupider it becomes.
It's not a flaw in the system. It's because government is not there to do what you were told they are doing.
No one is that stupid. It's actually impossible for a properly functioning government to be that inept.

How did the vote go in the democratic process when the representatives of the country had to decide to sell or not sell the strategic reserves?
How did the economic analysis get assessed when the potential to sell oil was fully debated and impacts considered to vote on the execution?
Let me guess, no such democratic process existed. Yet we elect people to make sure stupid stuff doesn't happen. | |
