I had a probox saved from 2021 that we found last year at planting time was weevil infested. My hired hand wanted to save it to feed pigs and chickens. I stored 2 pro boxes of leftover 2022 seed next to it for a year (a big error in judgement in retrospect) but nonetheless found no evidence of any weevils in either box. So looks like a crapshoot to me
