Sounds about perfect to make 80 bushel beans. NC IA here, we had about 1" of precipitation all of August, 2.5" for all of July. August rains are what make a bean crop. Despite that, the tough ground around here is going mid 40s to low 50s, good ground is averaging mid 60s to low 70s. These same fields had averages in the 80s last year, and some in the 90s. But last year we had 4-5" of rain in August. You guys also never saw 100degree heat for 3,4, or 5 days in a row.
