SE Iowa | I could see that. I’ll probably just stick to notill beans and full 50/50 rotation but I like the idea of getting the field flatter for harvesting beans and getting residue sized up. FC does okay ahead of corn but less residue would be nice and I wouldn’t say our fields are perfectly flat when cutting beans the following year. Looks like others can cut lower that used some sort of VT ahead of beans. | |
