We have 1 at each door. It did go to both of our phones but an update happened and I never reconnected mine. I was a little tired of getting notifications that the dog walked by or myself or spouse went in and out of house. Wife gets all of that now. People we know can be at the door but may not recognize them as it seems to be more of a silhouette picture. Wife can't get the phone going quick enough to talk to someone.
Having said all of that, still a worthwile investment.
When you choose a particular camera, look in the top right corner and you should see the little gear insignia which is the settings, touch it and this screen should come up if it’s like mine and you can turn the notifications off when at home
