Personally I think it’s Bayer pulling strings. If we send non gmo they don’t get the trait dollars. Money talks. Someone is on the take.




That's my thoughts on our industry groups too, maybe not at the state level but certinally nationally.

Look at what a big trait company would spend compared to annual membership for a farmer. A big area at commodity classic is probably well into the 6 figures, then add in the set of stairs sponsored by Double Pro corn or the water stations sponsored by Enlist soybeans for example. It starts to be a self fulfilling prophecy that only exists to grease the wheels of those who draw salaries from the organizations.
