That sounds alot like my inlaws house north of Orlando. They bought in 2009, and was only worth 10% more 10 years later.
Another relative had a house south of Tucson, got twice what they paid in 2007, moved to the Midwest and guy who bought it had it on the market in two years for 50k less.
