Subject: RE: Ring doorbell

Southwestern Minnesota
I have the Ring security system and have no regrets. I do have the subscription service. I have a doorbell camera at the front door and two other cameras outside. I also have three wired cameras inside the house that I plug in when I am going to be away for an extended period of time. Two of those cameras are in central areas by the entry doors. The other camera is in the basement focused on the water heater and softener to just keep an eye on those and watch for water. With the camera in the living room, I have it set so I can also see the monitor for the thermometers that I have in the freezer and refrigerator. In the winter I can also set up a thermometer that shows the inside temperature. I can look at all the screens on my phone and I find it very helpful to keep an eye on things when I'm gone. I don't have the wired ones plugged in when I'm home as it would be continuously notifying me of activity inside the house. This system has worked very well for me.
Only thing that could be better is that my wifi doesn't reach very far outside of the house. I had to get a wifi booster to help with that.
