It’s hard to ration the front end of the supply increase. Dumping 15 billion but of corn and 4 billion of beans into the supply chain in 6 weeks doesn’t spell shortage. If the crop is truly as short as some are pontificating, ( and it most certainly could be), the shortage, price rise and need to ration will come the 60-90’days before next harvest.



Not necessarily. There isn’t 15 B and 4B being dumped into the supply chain. A bunch of that will go into storage. It’s all about the demand for the product versus the willingness to sell by the owners at that point. Could easily see the highest prices earlier than you suggest if those who are holding the grain won’t sell. It’s all about AVAILABLE supply and current demand. Not necessarily total supply. What price will make beans move from storage to where they are needed?
Time will tell.
