| Depends on the airspace, which if they have their part 107 they should know that. You can get LAANC request for preset flight heights, its an easy process, and usually takes only a few minuets to complete. Beyond that you can put in special requests, which can take 30 days to approve, so more planning is needed, but still very doable. With some planning, coordination and listing out your prep/safety measures, the FAA will approve any reasonable request. I have flown a building survey across the street from an international airport with proper requests. | |
