Central MN | I agree that’s not the proper way to say it but just quoting a study done. I’ll see if I can find a link to the research but 1 example was that in an oats/pea mix that adding nitrogen help increase mycorrhizal. Straight oats was same to slight increase with nitrogen. And adding nitrogen to straight pea killed the mycorrhizal populations drastically. But like you are saying it might not kill them. They just don’t show up to the party.
