| I have said it again and again......these "canary in the coal" mine stories are a dead horse on this site. You just wait...you just wait... well its been almost 4 years since this stories started and I have seen things do nothing but get hotter and hotter. I live in rural community in northern Iowa and i am mystified by the prices on real estate. Many times I see a new listing and say "they'll never get that" and next time i check its pending. Never dreamed a home would sell for a million dollars in my rural town of 5,000 ppl and one just did... 3 have sold for 850+ in the last month. The sticker price on a Jeep wagoneer is 100k + and the dealer keeps selling them. Can't drive across town without seeing a 30 something stay at home wife(speculation) rolling around in one. Prices are up on everything everywhere. Traffic on the roads is busier than I have ever seen in my time. Maybe im the one living in some bubble buffered from the rest of the world but it sure seems like things get bigger busier and more expensive the closer i get to bigger areas.
