if the skinner dug all his roots, all you need is to find an old kent spring tooth harrow and mount all the tines on the back bar close together. I have a 24' that I put together years ago and it really works. It will catch any loose twigs and leave dirt behind.
If the skinner used a hoe and left hooked roots sticking up you have a lot of work to do.
