Be nice to us Gen Xers, we're built different. By age 5, we left the house at dawn, survived drinking from hoses, shooting each other with BB guns, throwing firecrackers at each other, and returned home at dark with a parent checking in on us maybe twice a month. We know fifteen days to remove blood stains from clothing so Mom didn't find out, life and freedom before cell phones and the Internet, and how to set VCR clocks, unlike boomers. FAAFO is our creed.
