As the title says, I need help finding an electric motor.  It's a 1 hp single phase C-face motor that runs at 3450 RPM.  It has a slotted shaft, which makes it very difficult to find, and expensive!  It is on a hydraulic dump valve for my dryer.  I've replaced it for the second time in 15 years, so it's not terribly unreliable, but $1,100 for a 1 hp motor makes me cringe.  There has got to be a cheaper option.  Does anybody in Agtalk land have any suggestions?
