So a blue jet track filler over it and its still alive?

Why not use the drag nozzles or boom backs and not leave anything more than a tire track?

I think boom backs make tracks worse, somehow. They certainly don’t help much, especially on a wiper.

I’m certainly no expert in pivots. We take them down as fast as we can. But I can’t see how they could make them worse if the water is behind the wheels. That’s why I like the drag hose idea since it’s a half circle.

Well, I can’t see how someone invented a binder/baler knotter, but they did.

The OP can try whatever pivot tracking remedies he likes; they’ve all been tried somewhere by various pivot and/or hay experts. If western irrigated alfalfa is any indication, there’s about a 99.98% chance that he’ll eventually decide to make hay around the tracks.
