Bean straw dries remarkably quickly. At worst, the greenest bean straw, if raked, will be dry enough to bale 4 days after going through the combine, providing the weather is reasonably dry. Combine green stem beans before noon one day and rake shortly after noon the next and bale that evening if drying conditions are excellent.
Any tips on harvesting these green beans?
